Do Ahead Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. herbed croutons
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 1/2 lb. hot or mild sausage
    4 eggs
    2 1/4 c. milk
    3/4 tsp. dry mustard
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Place croutons on bottom of buttered 8 x 11-inch or 9 x 13-inch dish.
    Top with most of the cheese, then layer browned and drained sausage.
    Beat eggs with 2 1/4 cups of milk and dry mustard.
    Pour mixture on top of sausage and sprinkle on remaining cheese.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Next morning, mix soup and milk; pour over top of casserole and bake 1 1/2 hours at 300\u00b0.
    Serves 8 to 10.
