Smoked Sausage With Cabbage And Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Hillshire Farms smoked beef sausage
    6 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes
    1 head cabbage (small to medium)
    1 large onion, diced into chunks
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cut sausage into slices; set aside.
    In a skillet, over medium heat, cook onions until tender.
    Add sausage and potatoes; continue cooking until potatoes are tender, may be lightly browned.
    Remove core from cabbage and cut into bite-size pieces, but not too small. Add about 1/3 of cabbage to skillet; adding a little salt and pepper.
    Cook until cabbage becomes a little tender, turning often so potatoes and sausage do not burn.
    Move 1/2 skillet mixture to large pot to make room for rest of cabbage.
    Continue cooking until tender, removing part of mixture from skillet to pot until all of cabbage is cooked.
    Heat cabbage and sausage mixture in pot until hot.
    Serves 4.
