Orange Cabbage Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large orange
2 tsp. white wine vinegar
2 tsp. sesame oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 small head green cabbage, cored and thinly sliced (about 4 c.)
1/2 small head red cabbage, cored and thinly sliced (about 4 c.)
4 scallions, thinly sliced diagonally
3 medium carrots, grated
Preparation

From the orange, grate enough zest to measure 1 1/4 teaspoons. Squeeze the juice.
Place zest and juice in a large bowl. Discard squeezed orange.
Whisk in vinegar, sesame oil and salt until well combined.
Add green and red cabbage, scallions and carrots.
Toss well to combine.
Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving to blend flavors.
