Molasses Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. Brer Rabbit molasses
    1 egg
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add molasses and egg; mix until smooth.
    Sift in dry ingredients.
    Let stand in refrigerator. Roll into balls and roll in sugar.
    Bake about 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
