Mary Ellen'S Lasagne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Italian sausage
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
    2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
    1 c. water
    1 Tbsp. dried basil, crushed
    1 clove garlic, minced
    10 oz. lasagne noodles
    2 beaten eggs
    3 c. Ricotta or cream-style cottage cheese
    1/2 c. grated Romano or Parmesan cheese
    2 Tbsp. dried parsley flakes
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. sliced Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Brown sausage; drain.
    Add undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, water, basil, garlic and 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt.
    Simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
    Stir occasionally.
