Indian Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. fresh corn
    4 c. shredded cabbage
    1 c. hot water
    3 slices bacon
    1 tsp. sugar
    dash of salt and pepper
Preparation
    Fry bacon in a 9-inch skillet until crisp; remove bacon and add all the mentioned ingredients.
    Cover and cook approximately 9 minutes.
    Remove from skillet and crumble crisp bacon on top. Serves 4.
