Chicken Stewed With Bell Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken (about 3 lb.)
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 c. olive oil
    2 Tbsp. butter
    salt and freshly ground pepper
    1/4 c. dry white wine
    1/2 c. clear beef stock
    3 red bell peppers
    1 garlic pepper, chopped
    1 small piece chili pepper, chopped
    1 Tbsp. basil, chopped
Preparation
    Wash and dry chicken, cut into medium size serving pieces and flour them lightly.
    Heat oil and butter in large skillet.
    Brown chicken pieces over moderate heat for 20 minutes.
    Season with salt and pepper when done and pour wine over.
    Cook until wine evaporates almost completely.
    Continue cooking until well done, moistening the meat from time to time with a bit of the stock.
