Creamy Chicken Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 qt. chicken stock
3 bay leaves
4 onions (reserve 2)
6 stalks celery (reserve 3)
5 carrots (reserve 3)
3 to 4 Tbsp. small pasta
Preparation

Make stock using whole chicken parts.
Simmer about 1 1/2 hours.
Strain liquid and put back in pot.
In food processor, process reserved onions, carrots and celery separately.
Bring liquid to a boil and add vegetables plus 3 to 4 tablespoons of small pasta (orzo).
Continue cooking about 15 minutes.
Make a roux with 3 to 4 tablespoons flour and 3 to 4 tablespoons margarine.
Add to the simmering soup.
Add chicken and serve.
