Ingredients

1 lb. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1 Tbsp. rum
2 drops vanilla
grated rind of 1/2 lemon
1/2 lb. butter
Preparation

Mix all ingredients to a stiff dough.
Work until smooth and pliable.
Leave for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator to get cold and firm.
Roll out thinly and cut into various shapes.
Bake in oven top rack until lightly browned.
Decorate with sugar, various frostings or sandwich together with jam.
