Pork Chops With Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 lean pork loin chops (1/2-inch thick)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    vegetable cooking spray
    1/2 tsp. crushed savory
    1 bay leaf
    2 1/2 c. tomato juice
    1/2 c. water
    1 cabbage, cut in 6 wedges
    6 carrots, sliced in 1-inch pieces
    1 1/2 c. chopped onion
    6 small new potatoes, halved
Preparation
    Season chops with salt and pepper.
    Coat Dutch oven with cooking spray.
    Place over medium heat until hot.
    Add chops. Brown on both sides.
    Add savory, bay leaf, tomato juice and water.
    Bring to boil.
    Reduce heat to simmer.
    Cover and cook for 30 minutes.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Return to boil.
    Reduce heat to simmer; cover and cook 35 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
    Remove bay leaf before serving.
    Makes 6 servings. Double for a crowd.
