Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. wheat germ
    1/4 c. shortening
    3/4 c. milk
    1 egg
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/4 c. wheat germ
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Combine flour, sugar, salt,
    baking
    powder
    and
    wheat germ; add
    shortening,
    milk
    and
    egg.
    Be
    careful
    not
    to overbeat this batter.
    Mix into
    another
    bowl,
    brown
    sugar, cinnamon, flour, nuts and wheat germ.
    Next,\tcut into the dry ingredients the butter.
    Pour 1/2 batter into a square greased cake pan.
    Top with 1/2 dry mixture,
    then pour the other half of batter and then top with the
    rest of dry mixture.\tBake at 325\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
