Black Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. black beans
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
4 garlic cloves, chopped
2 bay leaves
1 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. ground cumin
3/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 c. vinegar
salt or bouillon cubes to taste
Preparation

Wash beans thoroughly.
Soak overnight in 4 times their volume of water.
Drain.
Cover with water, and bring to a boil.
Reduce to simmer, add other ingredients.
Cook until beans are tender. Add more water if needed.
