French Bread(Bread Machine) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    3 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. (less 1 Tbsp.) hot water
    2 stiffly beaten egg whites
Preparation
    Whip the whites until stiff and set aside.
    Put ingredients in bread machine in the order required by your machine.
    Start machine; after all ingredients are mixed, stop machine and add beaten egg whites.
    (Note:
    Use the dough cycle.)
    When dough is ready to form into loaf, let rest for 30 minutes.
    Sprinkle or mist with water and cut slits in top.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
