Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. melted oleo or oil
    4 unbeaten eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    3 c. grated or ground raw carrots
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Cream sugar and oleo or oil.
    Add eggs and lightly hand beat. Add flour and other dry ingredients.
    Beat lightly again.
    Fold in carrots and nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Makes 3 layers.
