Chicken Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. shortening
1/2 to 2/3 c. water
6 slices ham
1/3 c. butter
1/3 c. flour
1 c. chicken broth
1 c. light cream
1 egg, separated
2 Tbsp. cream
1 c. chicken, chopped
1/4 c. bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. parsley
1 1/2 c. sliced chicken
Preparation

Crust:
Sift flour and salt together.
Cut in butter and shortening until size of peas.
Sprinkle water over mixture a little at a time while tossing lightly with a fork.
Form into a ball.
Place on floured board.
Roll to form a rectangle 21 x 14-inches.
Cut into six 7-inch squares.
