Cranberry-Orange Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
4 Tbsp. shortening
1 c. chopped pecans
2 tsp. orange rinds or bits
1 1/2 c. orange juice
2 c. halved raw cranberries
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together.
Add shortening, orange rind, orange juice and eggs.
Mix thoroughly.
Fold in cranberries and pecans.
Pour in greased loaf pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. Makes 2 large or 5 small loaves.
