Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. sifted flour
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
Preparation

Cream the butter; gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs.
Sift together the dry ingredients; stir into creamed mixture.
Chill overnight.
Roll dough thin and cook 10 to 12 minutes in moderate oven.
