Party Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. Jell-O (lemon, lemon-lime or lime)
    1 c. boiling water
    1 can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. cottage cheese
    1 c. whipped cream
    1/4 c. chopped, blanched almonds
Preparation
    Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water.
    Drain pineapple, measuring 1/2 cup syrup.
    Add to Jell-O.
    Chill until very thick.
    Fold in pineapple, cheese, cherries and almonds.
    Pour into individual molds or 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan.
    Chill until firm.
