Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

round steak
2 c. smooshed canned tomatoes
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped carrots
1 bay leaf
dash of garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Cut, flour and pound round steak.
Then brown each piece of meat in a little oil.
When well browned, cover with a mixture of canned tomatoes, celery, onion, carrots, bay leaf, garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste.
Cover pan and cook on low heat for 1 1/2 hours.
