Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. squash
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 egg
    1 c. grated cheese
    1/2 stick butter
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook squash until tender.
    Drain and
    mash.
    Mix sugar, mayonnaise, onions, egg, salt and pepper
    together and combine with squash.
    Place in a casserole dish and
    top
    with cracker crumbs, grated cheese and 1/2 stick butter.
    Cook in 350\u00b0 oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Makes 6 servings.
