M&M Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. M&M's (1 bag plain)

Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla thoroughly.
Sift together flour, soda and salt.
Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture.
Mix well.
Stir in 1/2 of the M&M's.
Reserve the rest of the M&M's for decorating.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet.
Decorate with the remaining M&M's.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes 6 dozen cookies.
