Molasses Stack Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. molasses
    1/2 c. butter
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    3 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs and molasses.
    Sift flour. Add spices and sift again.
    Mix.
    Bake in thin layers, 3 tablespoons per layer.
    Stack with applesauce or dried apple or apples of your choice.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
