Ingredients

1 box vanilla wafers
1 1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream, softened
1 (12 oz.) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 c. mini marshmallows
1 can evaporated milk
1 or 2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Line a 13 x 9-inch or larger pan on bottom and sides with vanilla wafers.
Spoon softened ice cream over the wafers.
Melt chocolate chips in heavy saucepan.
When melted, add the evaporated milk and marshmallows.
Stir constantly and cook until the chocolate mixture is thickened (and marshmallows have melted). Pour over ice cream and sprinkle with pecans.
Freeze until solid.
