Louisiana Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. whipping cream
2 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. soda
2 c. sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
large unbaked pie crust
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Preparation

Mix whipping cream, vinegar and soda. Set aside. Blend potatoes, sugar, baking powder, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon and salt in processor. Add first mixture. Blend. Pour into unbaked pie crust. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes. Turn to 300\u00b0 and bake for 40 to 50 minutes longer.
