Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. self-rising meal
1 small chopped onion
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. milk

Preparation

Combine meal and onion in bowl.
Add egg and milk; stir.
Drop by teaspoons into hot fat (375\u00b0).
Fry only a few at a time until golden brown.
Drain on paper towel.
