Convenient Cole Slaw(Keeps Indefinitely In Refrigerator) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    1 medium onion
    1 medium green pepper
    1 medium carrot
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. celery salt
Preparation
    Grate vegetables, then cover with boiling water.
    Let stand 1 hour.
    Drain in colander, then return to kettle.
    Pour remaining ingredients over top.
    Mix well and put in jars.
    Store in refrigerator.
