Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 c. raw peanuts
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. butter
Preparation
    Cook over high heat until it threads.
    Add raw peanuts. Cook until bubbles, and turns amber color.
    Add soda, salt and butter. Pour into buttered cookie sheet.
    Break up when cool.
