Shoo-Fly Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. margarine
1 c. Brer Rabbit molasses (green label)
2 c. boiling water
2 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in boiling water
Preparation

Crumb first four ingredients together in a large bowl.
Set aside 1 1/2 cups crumbs.
To remaining crumb mixture add molasses, water and soda.
Stir until well blended, do not use a mixer. Grease and flour bottom of a 13 x 9-inch pan.
Sprinkle remaining crumbs.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
