Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
2 yolks, beaten
1 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 pkg. chocolate chips (6 oz.)
Preparation

Cream Crisco.
Add yolks, water and vanilla.
Sift dry ingredients 3 times.
Add to creamed Crisco mixture.
Mix well. Pat out on greased pan and sprinkle chips on top.
Beat egg whites stiff.
Add 1 cup brown sugar slowly.
Beat and spread on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes.
Cut when cool.
