Acini De Pepe Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. acini de pepe macaroni
    1 large can mandarin oranges
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    3/4 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 eggs
    1 medium Cool Whip
    maraschino cherries (garnish)
Preparation
    Cook macaroni in boiling salted water.
    Drain and rinse in cold water.
    Place in large bowl.
    Mix juice from oranges and pineapple (reserve fruit) with sugar, salt, flour and eggs in saucepan.
    Cook mixture until thick, stirring constantly.
    Pour mixture over macaroni and refrigerate overnight.
    Next day, add oranges, pineapple and Cool Whip.
    Garnish with cherries.
