Chili-Mac Skillet - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 oz. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can red kidney beans, drained
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can diced tomatoes
1/2 c. elbow macaroni
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/4 c. water
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese or 1/4 c. Monterey Jack cheese
Preparation

In large skillet, brown meat with onions.
Drain off fat.
Stir in kidney beans, tomato sauce, undrained tomatoes, uncooked macaroni, green pepper, water, chili powder and garlic salt.
Bring to boil; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring often.
Remove skillet from heat.
Sprinkle meat mixture with Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese (both can be used).
Cover and let stand for 2 minutes or until cheese melts.
Makes 6 servings.
