Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/4 lb. or 1 stick oleo or butter
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 c. sour milk
2 large bananas, mashed (the riper the better)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt

Preparation

Cream sugar and butter; add eggs, milk, bananas and vanilla. Sift together flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
Mix both dry and wet ingredients together.
Bake in 2
layer cake pans at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes.
Cake is done when straw comes out clean from the middle.
