Pismo Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large chicken breasts, cut in half
    1/2 c. butter
    salt and pepper
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    3/4 c. dry white wine
    1 (5 oz.) can drained, sliced water chestnuts
    4 Tbsp. green pepper
    1/2 tsp. crushed thyme
Preparation
    Brown chicken slowly in melted butter.
    Add salt and pepper and arrange in shallow baking dish.
    Brown mushrooms in drippings.
    Add remaining ingredients and heat to boiling.
    Pour over chicken. Cover with foil and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes, then uncover and continue baking for 25 to 30 minutes or until done.
    Serves 6.
