Russian Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. half and half cream
    2 Tbsp. plain gelatin
    1 1/2 c. sour cream
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. cold water
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Heat cream with sugar; soak gelatin in cold water; combine with hot cream.
    Cool until slightly thickened.
    Whip sour cream and vanilla and combine as first mixture congeals.
    Pour into ring mold.
    Chill until firm.
