Gretchen Fayhey'S Quick Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices Italian bread, butter both sides
    1 lb. grated Longhorn cheese
    2 c. half and half
    1 lb. sausage, cooked and drained
    6 eggs
Preparation
    Line buttered 9 x 13-inch baking dish with buttered bread. Spread sausage over bread. Add cheese and spread evenly.
    Beat eggs and half and half together.
    Pour over sausage and cheese layers. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350\u00b0, uncovered, for 40 minutes.
    Serve hot.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
