Old Virginia Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Heat butter and milk to boiling point (do not boil). Add brown sugar. Add eggs 1 at a time; beat after each addition. Add dry ingredients and beat. Add vanilla. Bake in 9 x 13 pan at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
