Cheddar Squash Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. thin sliced squash, cooked and drained
    2 slightly beaten egg yolks
    1 c. sour cream
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 stiffly beaten egg whites
    1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
    6 slices cooked bacon
    1 Tbsp. melted margarine
    1/2 croutons or bread crumbs
Preparation
    Mix squash with egg yolks, sour cream and flour.
    Fold in egg whites.
    Mix melted margarine with croutons or bread crumbs. Layer 1/2 squash and 1/2 of first mixture and 1/2 cheese.
    After second layer, top with crumbled bacon and croutons or bread crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Serves 8 to 10 people.
