Jewish Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped nuts
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 can evaporated milk
    1 (8 oz.) bottle maraschino cherries, chopped
Preparation
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder together.
    Cream the butter and sugar.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Add vanilla.
    Add dry ingredients, alternating with milk and beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
    Stir in cherries and nuts.
    Pour into greased 10-inch tube pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes.
