Baked Cheese Grits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. grits
4 1/2 c. water
1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
1/2 lb. Longhorn cheese or Velveeta cheese
1/4 lb. butter or oleo
1 tsp. salt
dash of Tabasco sauce
2 tsp. seasoning salt
3 eggs, well beaten
Preparation

Cook the grits and water slowly until the mixture thickens. While hot, add the grated Cheddar cheese, Longhorn or Velveeta cheese, butter or oleo, seasoning salt (Lawry's or Beau Monde), salt, eggs and Tabasco sauce.
Mix together and bake in a greased 9 x 13-inch casserole at 250\u00b0 for
1 hour. Serves 12 to 16.
