Mushroom Beef Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    beef roast (3 to 4 lb. or any size)
    onions, chopped (1 to 2 or more)
    salt
    pepper
    garlic powder
    cream of mushroom soup (10 3/4 oz., 1 to 2 cans or enough to cover roast)
    1 to 2 tsp. beef stock (dry)
Preparation
    Sprinkle roast
    with
    salt,
    pepper and garlic powder to suit taste; brown
    in oil or shortening and drain.
    Add desired amount of onions,
    soup
    and beef stock; cover and simmer until tender, 3 to 4 hours.
