Lemon Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 c. boiling water
3 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
pinch of salt
dash of nutmeg
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation

Combine sugar and cornstarch.
Add boiling water gradually while stirring constantly.
Boil 6 minutes, then remove from heat. Add butter, lemon juice, salt and nutmeg.
Serves 6.
Serve with bread, steamed or cottage pudding.
