Hot Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (1 lb.) can chocolate syrup
    black walnuts
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar together. Add 1 egg at a time. Add sifted flour, salt and blend in chocolate syrup, flavoring and black walnuts. Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan for 30 minutes.
    Make icing and pour over cake while hot.
