Evelyn'S Famous Tangy Green Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. French-cut green beans
1/3 c. butter
2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation

Cook green beans in water; drain and keep warm.
Don't overcook as the beans will become mushy.
Combine mustard, sugar, butter, salt and pepper in a small pan.
Heat slowly, stirring constantly, until the butter melts.
Stir in the lemon juice and vinegar.
Pour over hot green beans.
Can be prepared ahead, adding the sauce to the beans just before serving.
