Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    1 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sugar
    2 sq. chocolate, melted
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and sugar.
    Add the eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
    Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Pour into a greased dish and bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
