Apple Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. finely shredded apples
    1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
Preparation
    Sift first 5 ingredients into medium bowl.
    Cream butter and sugar into large bowl until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
    Add flour mixture and apples 1/2 at a time, mixing well after each.
    Stir in walnuts.
    Pour into well-greased loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until tested done.
    Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then remove to wire rack to completely cool.
