Ingredients

1/4 lb. oleo
2 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
8 oz. chopped dates
2 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
flaked coconut
Preparation

Melt oleo in large skillet.
Beat eggs and sugar together and add to butter.
Add dates.
Stir constantly and over very low heat for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and add cereal, nuts and vanilla.
Put mixture in a bowl and cool .
Make into balls about the size of a quarter and roll in flaked coconut.
