New England Yam Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple slices in heavy syrup
    1 (16 oz.) can yams, drained
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1/4 c. flour
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1 c. miniature marshmallows
Preparation
    Drain pineapple, reserving 1/4 cup syrup.
    Line a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with pineapple.
    Arrange yams in dish.
    Pour reserved syrup over yams.
    Sprinkle nuts over yams.
    Combine dry ingredients and cut in margarine until a coarse texture.
    Top yams with dry mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Top with marshmallows and brown lightly.
    Yields 6 to 8.
