Cheese Wafers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
8 oz. (2 c.) shredded extra sharp cheese
1 c. self-rising flour
1/4 tsp. cayenne
8 to 10 drops Tabasco
3/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream butter and cheese together. Add rest of ingredients and mix well. Shape into long rolls with a diameter about the size of a half dollar. Wrap in wax paper or plastic wrap. Chill in refrigerator for 2 hours or overnight. Slice thin and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes, until golden. This freezes well. Dough may be kept in the fridge for 2 to 3 weeks.
