Ingredients

8 eggs
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 cans evaporated milk
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. brown sugar
Preparation

Sift brown sugar into bottoms of 8 custard cups or 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
Beat slightly.
Add sugar and salt; blend in milk and vanilla.
Pour custard mixture over sugar in custard cups or baking dish.
Place cups or baking dish into shallow baking pan and fill halfway up baking dish with hot water.
