Chopped Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. unsifted flour
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. corn oil
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. peeled and coarsely chopped apples (about 2 medium)
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Grease and flour a loaf pan (8 1/2 x 4 x 2 1/2-inch).
    On wax paper thoroughly stir together the flour baking soda, salt and spices.
    In a large mixing bowl beat together until smooth the sugar, corn oil, eggs and vanilla.
    Slowly beat in the flour mixture; stir in apples and nuts.
    Turn into prepared pan.
    Bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven until a cake tester inserted in center comes out clean, 1 1/4 hours.
    Cool on wire rack 10 minutes, then turn out on pan.
    Cool completely before slicing.
